Tragically, Passion Fruit was in a Swiss airliner crash on November 21, 2001. Two members were killed, Maria and Nathaly (the two on the left) only one member - Debby - survived. Neither of them survived the disaster, which also claimed the life of Melanie Thornton known best as the voice of dance group La Bouche. The aircraft was on flight to Berlin from Switzerland. This is an unfortunate and untimely loss to the Euro-dance community. They will always be remembered fondly.
